Oxygen Therapy without Being Weighed Down
- Weight: 6 lbs
- 7.3 lbs with the Optional External Battery
Oxygen tanks really begin to take a burden on your back and body after lugging them around day in and day out, but with the Invacare XPO2 you will never experience that again.
At most the XPO2 will weigh 7.3 pounds with the external battery, but the carrying case provides a comfortable and trendy way of protecting and supporting the unit with minimal strain on you.
You may not need the external battery at all times, and during such times you can remove the external battery to enjoy the lightest overall package of 6 pounds.
Battery Life that Matches a Busy Lifestyle
One of the things that makes portable oxygen concentrators like the Invacare XPO2 excel past oxygen tanks is the usage of
rechargeable lithium ion batteries.
Instead of filling tanks or calling for a delivery, you instead charge the battery at the end of each use and with the addition of the supplemental battery the time between charges will be extended.
In fact, you will receive up to an additional 2.5 hours of operation with the addition of the external battery which only weighs 1.3 pounds.
Allowing you to customize your oxygen therapy, if you plan on being away from the house all day then bring the external battery along, or while exercising you will want the lightest overall package so you can choose to leave the external battery at home.

Comfort Meets Oxygen Therapy
As oxygen therapy is a daily task shouldn’t you be comfortable at all times?
Invacare thinks so, which is why the custom carrying case features a handle strap for easy lifting, as well as a padded shoulder strap which takes the unit out of your hands effectively freeing them up for more important tasks.
For streamlined use, the shoulder strap connects directly to the carrying case to offer comfort and protection.
You can further enhance your comfort during use of the XPO2 with the optional wheeled traveling cart. Instead of supporting the portable concentrator on your shoulers, the travel cart allows you to pull it behind you with an adjustable telescoping handle while keeping the unit off the ground with its elevated base.
For even more convenience, the included accessory bag is designed to fasten to the back of the travel cart so wherever you go all your most important XPO2 accessories are right by your side.
Sensi-Pulse Technology
You have varying breathing patterns depending on if you are watching a movie, sleeping, or exercising. The XPO2 features Sensi-Pulse technology that automatically detects and adjusts the size of each bolus dose to meet your oxygen demand.
With Sensi-Pulse you will receive constant minute-volume, meaning that no matter your breath rate or flow setting the exact same amount of oxygen is delivered per minute. As your breath rate decreases, the bolus size increase and vice versa.
Large Button Control Panel
The control panel on the Invacare XPO2 is nothing but simplistic, featuring the power button, up and down flow adjustments, and a battery gauge button.
This simplistic approach means you won’t be confused or have to be taught how to use it, even better is the buttons are enlarged to help patients that are visually impaired.
Stay Prepared with the On-Board Battery Gauge
The presence of the battery gauge button on the control panel is to help you eliminate the stress of worrying about running out of oxygen.
