Description
Respironics SimplyGo Mini
Respironics is one of the leading manufacturers of home and portable oxygen concentrators.
They are the brains behind some of the most well-known and used units on the market, including the Respironics SimplyGo, EverGo and the EverFlo Q home concentrator.
Currently Respironic’s lightest portable unit is the EverGo, which weighs up to 9.9 pounds and offers strictly pulse flow settings.
Though if you want a portable unit but need continuous flow you would use the SimplyGo, which offers continuous settings of 1-2 LPM and pulse flow settings of 1-6 in a package that weighs 10 pounds.
When it comes to portable oxygen from Respironics you no longer only have those two options. Introducing the Respironics SimplyGo Mini portable oxygen concentrator.
Weighing in at a mere 5 pounds, the SimplyGo Mini is the lightest POC ever developed by Respironics and it will also be one of the lightest on the market.
The brand new SimplyGo Mini has the capability to satisfy your clinical and ambulatory lifestyle needs, while offering unmatched reliability.
Passes Exhaustive Testing Measures
To ensure effective and exact operation each time you turn the unit on, the SimplyGo Mini by Respironics is designed and tested rigorously to be dependable and durable in the real world.
The SimplyGo Mini passes the same testing routine as the highly effective SimplyGo.
Battery Options That Meet Lifestyle Demands
Enjoy the ability to customize the SimplyGo Mini’s battery life to meet your demand, with 2 battery options you can stay out for as long or for as little as you please.
To enjoy the lightest possible package with up to 4.5 hours of use on a setting of 2, then the standard 8-cell battery will be your go to option.
On the other hand, if you don’t mind an additional pound tacked onto the unit in exchange for longer battery life then the extended 16-cell battery and its staggering 9 hours of battery life (on setting 2) will satisfy your needs.
To further simplify your treatment, Respironics designed the protective carrying bag to be compatible with both the 8-cell and 16-cell battery.
To use the 8-cell battery keep the carrying bag’s base completely zipped, or if you are using the 16-cell just unzip the bags base and it will extend to fit the bigger battery.
Charging Time
- Standard 8-Cell Battery: Up to 4 Hours
- Extended 16-Cell Battery: Up to 8 Hours
Always be Aware of Remaining Battery Life
When you want to enjoy portable operation of your Respironics SimplyGo Mini, it’s imperative that you ensure that you have enough battery life to keep you saturated throughout the duration of your plans.
You can check your battery using two different methods. The easiest is to check the battery gauge on the control panel, selecting the battery gauge will display the remaining percentage of battery life.
The second method is ideal for patients with multiple batteries. On the backside of each battery there is a battery gauge, press the black button and the gauge will fill to the nearest 25% increment.

Charging Methods that Match Lifestyle Demands
- AC Power Supply
- DC Power Supply
- External Battery Charger
With the addition of the SimplyGo Mini your oxygen therapy treatment will look a little different than it did using a cumbersome oxygen tank.
Possibly the biggest change is you will no longer need to call and have replacement tanks filled or dropped off. Instead, you will need to charge the SimplyGo Mini’s lithium ion battery using either the AC or DC power supplies.
AC Power Supply: This is the standard method of charging your 8 or 16-cell SimplyGo Mini battery. Compatible with any US or Canadian wall outlets, the AC power supply makes it so you can charge the unit anywhere in your house without interrupting your oxygen therapy treatment.
DC Power Supply: With your new found freedom you will be taking full advantage of your ability to get out of the house. Which leaves you vulnerable of running out of battery life on the go. Whenever you leave the house take the DC power supply along to eliminate that possibility. Just plug the DC power supply into your vehicle’s cigarette outlet or DC power source to charge the unit’s battery and receive treatment on the go.
Touch-Screen Responsive Control Panel
Quickly and accurately change the settings of your SimplyGo Mini with the advanced yet patient-friendly touch screen control panel. To keep operation as seamless as possible, the control panel features a power button, display screen, and home button.
Once you turn the machine “On” the display screen will illuminate and show the selected flow setting in the top right, a battery gauge at the bottom and a settings button on the top left.
If at any time you want to exit the current screen and return back to the home screen just touch the “Home” button.
Each time you power the SimplyGo Mini “On”, the device will resort to the flow setting you used when the device was last turned “Off”.
When the time comes to adjust for exercise or other activities, simply press the flow setting and adjust to your desired flow using the + or – buttons.
Before you head out ensure that you are using the proper setting and that you have enough battery life. Get an exact percentage amount of your remaining battery life by choosing the battery gauge icon on the home screen.
If you ever want to adjust the brightness of the SimplyGo Mini’s control panel, press the setting or gear icon on the top left of the screen.
Select the Brightness menu, and use the plus or minus to dim or brighten the display light. The settings button (gear icon) will also give you access to the Alarm Log menu, which will tell you the type of alarm that occurred and if no alarm occurred the screen will display “N/A”.
